The Western Way B&B is located in the historic village of Oughterard which is surrounded by the breathtaking scenery and landscapes of connemara. It is nestled beside Lough Corrib, which is the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland. Connemara offers rugged scenery, boglands, mountains, sandy beaches and also encompasses the Irish-speaking Gaeltacht region.

The Western Way is an ideal base for touring Connemara, The Aran Islands and the Galway region. It is surrounded by history, heritage and offers an abundance of activities such as fishing, golf, cycling, hill-walking and lake cruises to mention but a few.
